For me it wasn't. Just on the same day I beat my former PB (6.28) with a 5.59.

My PBs are 6.28 single, 8.73 of 5 and 9.46 of 12. I recently did a lot of 3x3 solves; bigger averages are mostly around 10.20-10.30. My main events are 3x3 one-handed and two-handed. :)
