Did you learn a new technique from studying a reconstruction of some WR solve? Did you ever followed a reconstruction and found a particularly nice alg? Did you see an example solve that just made a whole concept click? Were you ever amazed by an especially elegant solve?

I read about the ZZ-d Variation to ZZ (http://www.emsee.110mb.com/Speedcubing/ZZ%20speedcubing%20system.html#zz-d).
Are there any cubers who use this? And if so, is there a tutorial on this?
So I had thinking on a new pyraminx LBL method, kind of EG.
so the phases are:
1. solve one face (not a layer)
2. solve all the edges in one alg.
I counted the cases for phase 2 and I got 21, or 12 without mirrors.
So what do you think?
