Faz's secret to being so fast must be in all the cube rotations he does… (I'll do the fifth one later; the first three have large parts of the solve obscured by the table and I don't think I want to spend too much time trying to reconstruct those.)

Not sure if the "OLL" alg was actually meant to be ZBLL (the case it solves is the mirror of the case that showed up) or just a big cube OLL alg.

Ninja edit: reconstruction for the third solve too!

People actually spend their time doing this- how long did that take, please do the first 3 @xyzzy
Almost an hour each. The first three solves would take even longer because I suck at making reconstructions when the cube is barely visible; I'll leave those to the experts.

Honestly, I don't think I've been quite as nervous as I was for that 4th solve in a while - I was shaking a lot during centers, and freaked out even more once I saw that 2 entire edges were solved after centers. I promise my first 2 42s were a lot nicer :p

5th solve 3x3 stage was also really dumb - 5 pairs as well as executing the mirror of the ZBLL instead of the actual ZBLL - mainly just caused by competition nerves again.

At home. Where you should be.

Nervous and still getting 42s- Im happy with my official 1:45 lol.

I was thinking about this too. I think maybe it helps with finding pieces faster since rotating shows a new part of the cube. Your reconstructions show a ton more R moves too, so I guess he might be getting better TPS by using his dominant hand as well.
