Hey, welcome to the Bay Area! I don't know if the Meetup group is still around, as it was basically dead even by the time I first discovered it, and I've honestly never even heard of any cubing meetups before. But hey, can't hurt to try, or start something new!

If you had all the stickers necessary to sticker a blank cube, but placed them randomly, what are the odds that it'll be solvable in the standard color scheme? What are the odds that it'll be solvable in any color scheme?

I've tried checking thoroughly both Lowe's and Home Depot and none of them carry the washers small enough for cubes. If you've got any of MoYu's WR cubes, they should come with an extra set of washers that'll fit. Otherwise, you can order them separately.

Oh good, I'm not the only one pissed off at DaYan about this. It's all their fault for having this kind of misleading promotion. Nowhere does it say that only the green one will have these special stickers. I was really looking forward to the black one having rubber stickers, too. I legit...

Did yours come with washers below the springs? Where and when did you buy it? Also, was it black or stickerless? I had a black GuHong V4 that broke very easily, despite not using it all that much and was actually using that cube to practice turning as lightly as possible. I found that it did...

Oy, I'm an idiot. I just first read it as "taiyang series" because it's a series (系) of NxN cubes. I didn't even register that the entire phrase could've been read as solar system, haha.

What bugs me the most about the recent DianSheng release is not the puzzles themselves, but somehow TC not acknowledging that they have a name. It's in Chinese, but it's still right there on the box. It's called the TaiYang series (太陽系), meaning "sunshine". Calling it just the DianSheng 3x3 M...

The best way I find to being CN is to just fully go into it. Don't treat it one color at a time. CN is more of a state of mind, and filtering out cross pieces that look good from the start eventually becomes easier. Having days of concentrating on certain cross colors goes against the concept...
