I always have wonderful experience with cubezz.com. So far, my Favorited and most recommended cube selling website out there, crazy cheap although shipping could take up to 2-4 weeks. The longest I had to wait was 3.5 weeks which was pretty good. I recommend this website to everyone.
Some sides just don't feel perfect and yes, my Air feels really sticky as well out of the box but breaking in would help make each side feel more even. Although after break in, it will still feel a bit sticky.
It might only be the UM that you hear the magnets because for my DIY one, I don't hear the magnetic click sound, I only feel it. Luckily I made a DIY instead of the UM because I really dislike the the weight of the normal Air, even the weight of the DIY Air with magnets is a bit too light for my...
I just used nornal 4mmx2mm n35 neodymium magents, as for the foam, any foam would work, it just blocks out the sound of the hollow pieces and btw, I only foam modded it on the edge piece due to the face that the Valk has holes in the corner so I do not recommend putting any there. Hope this...
I used n35 magnets on my Qiyi Warrior W and the magnets placement was more futher at the front giving it a stronger magnetic feel due to the fact that n35s are a bit too weak for it but putting it further at the front makes the cube feel really stable and has a really crispy feel which I enjoy...
I failed it a few times so the inside of the capped pieces are looking pretty horrible but totally does not affect the performance. I don't have a phone with me right now but I will send a picture of where I placed the magnets later . The placement of the magnet is perfect I think. The 3 failed...
Definitely Valk 3 if you are not on budget, it comes in a choice of stickerless and the cube isn't that loud. After installing magnets in it, it becomes really quiet, one of the best cubes on the market right now. If you are on budget, get the Warrior W, out of the box, I was 'really'...
I made a Gan 356 Air a day ago. I used 4mmx2mm n35 magnets on all the corner pieces and somewhat, 'weaker' 4mmx2mm n35 ( I don't know why ) on all the edge pieces, I am sure that those r 4mmx2mm magnets but feels weaker than n35. If you want to say, 'Maybe the actual n35 magnets you put on the...
I just disassembled it and unscrewed the screws, I made 3 master edge pieces and 3 master corner edge pieces so I can finish my modification faster instead of only using 1 master magnet which will slow down my process since I will always have to wait for the glue to dry. That pretty much sums up...
